Nestled adjacent to ancient Staffordshire woodland, Alcor is a luxury off-grid cabin designed for those who crave solitude, stars and a slower escape. Alcor sits in a secluded glade where the forest floor softens every footstep and the canopy above filters the light into something almost sacred. Perfectly placed for watching the mist rise at dawn or the constellations emerge at dusk.

Arriving at Alcor, you step out of the everyday. There’s no distractions – just trees, stunning views and you. Why not take a nice steaming hot soak in Alcor’s outdoor bath – as you take in the views?

Dogs (or indeed any pets) are welcome at Alcor – so feel free to bring one or multiple many dogs with you. The cabin is fully enclosed – so a great to opportunity to let the dogs roam and discover new smells. We’ll provide a dog bowl, towel, treats and poop bags for you as well!

Inside Alcor is pared-back but indulgent – a nature-stay which comfortable respects nature. With a plush king-sized bed complete with luxury soft bedding, a crackling log burner and thoughtful touches throughout – such as organic teas, rich Dark Arts coffee, Faith In Nature toiletries and a curated selection of books and games. Every detail is chosen to help you disconnect, relax and breathe a little deeper.

A kitchen with cooking stove, sink, knives, cutlery and worktop counter – mean you can unlock your inner chief to create hearty wholesome meals! The bathroom features fresh high quality towels, power shower, modern environmentally friendly no flush toilet and basin.

Beyond the cabin, the woodland trails of Hanchurch Hills stretch out in every direction. Whether you’re hiking, cycling or simply wandering, there’s space to roam and reconnect. And if you fancy a pint or a hearty meal, two exceptional pubs are just a short walk away — one known for its award-winning fare and the other for its fireside charm.

Alcor is off-grid, but not off-limits. There’s on-site parking and easy access for those arriving via public transport (via Stone train station and then just a 15 minute taxi). Whether you’re escaping with someone special or seeking solitude, Alcor offers a quieter kind of luxury – one rooted in nature, intention, and peace.
