Tucked just outside the historic town of Llangollen, Hydra offers a quiet kind of luxury. Step inside and you’ll find a plush king-sized bed, soft linens, a log burner and thoughtful touches throughout — from organic teas and rich coffee to books, games and natural toiletries. It’s warm, minimal and made for deep rest.

Outside why not soak in the hot outdoor bath, as the sun dips behind the hills. Or gather around the fire pit under a blanket of stars. For those seeking something truly elemental, guests can book a 3 hour session in the nearby wild sauna — a wood-fired experience with panoramic views and rising steam. Hydra guests receive an exclusive discount and it’s just a short drive and walk from the cabin.

Hydra is pet-friendly too, providing a great base for taking four-legged friends on walks in the surrounding Vivod countryside. Although please note the cabin itself is not fully enclosed. We also provide the essentials for your pet: bowl, towel, treats and poop bags.

Beyond your doorstep, the Welsh hills and rivers invite exploration.
